Hi chess friends:)
What are your opinions on the books 1) Understanding chess Middlegames 2) understanding chess endgames. I'm unrated, but I'm about 1600-1700 Elo strength. What is the target rating for these books. From your experience did these books benefit you and how many rating points did you gain after reading john nunns book or possible both of the books.
