Live chess with blindfold variation

Hi all,

today I wanted to try to play blindfolded chess online. I didn't find any website with this functionality (including my favorite chess.com) and I didn't have any work to do this afternoon, so I wrote this little Chrome extension that hides the pieces when playing Live chess.

Ofc, it is still in beta version and I will be very happy if anyone wants to test it. I already played couple of games and lost them all Cry

One drawback is that I couldn't post it on Chrome Web Store, because they require $5 fee, even if the extension is for free. Maybe I will pay the price, but only after I see interest in the extension.

Now the instructions if you want to try the extension.

1) install chrome (latest version)

2)  download zip file , that contains the zipped directory with the extension, and unzip it somewhere

3) read this tutorial  and in the section "Load the extension" target the directory you have unzipped

4) now you have the extension installed and should be visible in the upper right corner in your Chrome browser

5) start a Live chess game and press the extension icon (in the upper right corner) and select one of the first 2 options ( one is to play partially blindfolded, the other is fully blindfolded , if you make it so far, you will see the difference)

* last option is still in development. so in order to play normally, you will have to refresh the page!

** THIS IS A CHROME EXTENSION AND WORKS ONLY WITH CHOME!!!

if you have any question or feedback, please reply in this topic Smile

Have a nice day!

One more thing, the zipped file contains the source for the extension, and someone with more knowledge in creating Chrome extension will probably do it better than me, I must say that I have no previous experince writing extensions and this is a product of 2 hour extensive reading of Chrome documentation/tutorials Cool
