Looking for evaluation of moves, not next best move...

I have Shredder and Stockfish on my iPad, both of which can give me an evaluation of the next best move. I'd like to look at games and have an analysis of the moves, find out which it says are basically favorable or weak. Can either of these applications do that (maybe I just don't know how to use them), or if not, what programs can?

Thanks.

That is a great question. I would like to hear

an answer to about what chess programs will

analyze your moves. It is really tough to figure out

why some moves especially in openings are bad.

Sorry I cannot answer, Hopefully someone could comment

about the many software chess programs that may be able

to do this.

In positions where the evaluation only shows very small evaluation numbers(such as +0.34), I personally cannot see what that evaluation means. Playing through to the end of the given line doesn't help me either. It's only when the evaluation numbers are over 1.0, or 2.0 where I can see my advantage or disadvantage.

I guess +.34 is a tempo. and 1 is a pawn advantage.
0.34+ 0.34+0.34 =1 pawn
3 tempo =1 pawn.
