strategy and plan

hey guys im a writer,and the title of my story is about building a house.but i want to use the word strategy in my story.can i use the word strategy in my story or what?for example..what is my strategy of building my house?.i think you cannot use the word strategy in the sentence if you talking about no competition right?.help me guys to know if i can use it or not ok?.i wait to your answer guys.

I found this definition on Dictionary.com :

a plan, method, or series of maneuvers or stratagems for obtaining a specific goal or result: a strategy for getting ahead in the world.

Seems okay with me. I would go obtain your goal.

thank you variable,but for me i think i cannot use it in the sentence because my story is only building my house and i have no opponet because im just building a house.and one more thing i think you can use the word strategy in your story if their is a competition.i think we need a english teacher to answer this.what do you think ha..variable?.i wait for your answer.

You do not need to have an opponent in order to have a strategy. By "opponent" I mean a physical person. What you need to have is a goal to achieve. All in all, you can use the word "strategy" in your book.

You may have a strategy to build a house but you will need tactics to justify your position
