Better clear that up. I am in no or shape in love with him. I the fact that he called me just a troll. No funny business going on here in any way shape or form. NONE AT All!
Suicidal opponents
Hey i have been called way worse on this site and that was week #1 during games. Telling me how they going to beat me up and down the chess board. Telling me chess for kids might be my speed. Fowl language after i won.
Man i love you...... you called me a troll.
I wasn't calling anybody troll, at least not you! I'm just saying that this thread easily beats the "opining and trap" thread in epicness and perhaps could've been named accordingly. As you said, should be number one for years.
If I'm not making any sense it just might be related to the fact that it's 3 pm here now and the last time I slept was from 8 am to 2 pm yesterday.
Man i have my speech ready for the 10th on what i was going to say.
I give up. Judge Judy we need your help to settle this now.
Anybody have her on speed dial?
Incredibly, this isn't trolling - this guy has played ~8000 games here. I can't quite work it out, but I *think* it's a slightly improbable combination of buddhist thinking, incredibly poor chess understanding and, dare i say it - stupidity.

...and smoking, the good stuff.
Yeah man -he's clearly at one with the Universe and figured out a pan-dimensional approach to the game we couldn't comprehend.... probably, I really can't figure it out.
Nine times out of 10, if a player forces position to trade a piece, that trade off will provide positional advantage, or occasionally even material advantage. As for trading as a form of defense. Sometimes the player will move a key piece in this trade off, which can use position to change a bad situation to a good situation.
I allways play "suicidal games", if i can trade the queens o the pieces actives of my rival, why not?, sometimes, a bishop is more stronger what a queen, suicidal agains active pieces, offcourse
Reminds me of a player whose username is 'dontswapqueens'. Some people just decide that once the queens are off (or in this case, once two equal pieces have been traded) the game becomes less suited to their tastes, and therefore such events should be avoided.
Basically, a complete lack of understanding of the nature of the game or indeed, human nature; in thinking others playing the game will acquiesce to their wishes in a zero sum situation.
Sometimes people trade their more active pieces for the opponent's less active ones. Heck, I even studied an amateur Internet game where a guy traded his excellent knight for the terrible bishop! So we know many exchanges are mistakes. However, sometimes people trade to ease their defense, neutralize an opponent's more active piece, or transition into a favorable endgame.
