Oh, to me the purpose of Nc4 is OH SWEET JESUS MY B2 KNIGHT IS FKING TERRIBLE and c4 gives it access to d2 and e3.

seems really passive just to waste tempo on a knight on e3

that's really why I think white is losing. That knight is a horrible piece.

Not at all. c4, d5, f5, and g4 are are useful to look at from e3.

Now getting there might be a dream, but say we can just pick him up and put him there, he'd be fine.

oh wait!!! Nxe4! you have to play Re1 first. and h3 is a good prophylactic before that.

Hey yeah, I didn't like Qe2, but I didn't even consider Qd2. I think that's a reasonable idea for white to look at (the Qd2 Nd1 thing).

Maybe even c4 Na4-c3

That what I feel like would be the biggest problem. In analysis we might find out white is ok, but this would be hard (at least for me) to play well OTB.

I usually spend most of my time looking for ways to attack and now I see that there is something to be said for just slowly improving a position. Thanks Leiph! :)
