Who was your toughest opponent, and why?

Every chess player should have a hobby. What are your hobbies?

(If the master is married) How does your family life affect your chess?

How has Carlsen's play changed the way you approach the game? (For example, does it alter how you study the openings?)

How much time do you devote to studying chess now?

How much of that time is spent studying endgames now that you're already a master?

What is your opinion of Carlsen's latest win?

Did you get to see Carlsen's lastest photo shoot?

Do you think anybody will ever be able to challenge Carlsen?

Do you find it a blessing to be living in the same epoch as Carlsen?

If you had it to do all over again, looking back, now that you know, what would you do differently to get from your beginning chess strength to where you are now both quicker and easier?

In other words, what were some things you spent more time on that weren't actually as important as you thought they'd be?

And what do you wish you had spent more time on that proved to actually increase your playing strength more than anything else?

(The reason for these questions are so that currently weaker players can benefit from your hindsight so they don't have to waste time or energy on the wrong things and can spend that time and energy on what will help them reach master strength quickest and easiest.)

Interviews are waste of time, same time can be utilized improving the     game

Is there a word missing? There's a gap between 'the' and 'game'.

Why are bananas so cheap?

How old were you when you stopped calling your father daddy?

Who will be the next world champion?

Would you be interested in taking a short survey while getting a manicure?

Bullet or blitz?  Boxers or briefs?

Can you drive a stick?

Are you a charlie trapped inside a chess players body?

Why do you keep looking at the door?

Ever used the eeny meeny miney mo method in a voting booth?

Can you fly at will in dreams?

Does Carlsen make you feel worthless as a player?

Does Carlsen haunt your dreams and shred your opening theory books like a certain Freddie Kreuger with razor sharp talons?

Does Carlsen secretly sleep with your wife, beat your dog (or vice-versa) when you are away playing tournaments?

Update: Finally, was there a time when you didn't love Carlsen and how terrible did you feel?

ForgoneMoose

If you could have babies with Carlsen, how many?

What does Carlsen's hair smell like?

Have you ever tried reading the tags on the insides of Carlsen's clothes before, on or off?

How has Bernard Parham influenced your play?

What side of the bed does Carlsen usually wake up on in the morning?

TheGrobe

If you could die and come back as anyone, what do you think it would be like to be Magnus Carlsen?

On topic: why do kamikaze-pilots wear helmets?

TheGrobe

Well that's easy, they generally crashed into the ships if they were already going down, often after being shot.  If you were knocked unconscious when your plane was hit (or when you were making sharp maneuvers trying to avoid being hit) because you didn't have a helmet you could hardly steer the plane towards your target once you knew you were going down.

If your Uncle Jack was working on the roof, and a gust of wind blew the laddder down and he was stuck up there, would you help your Uncle Jack off?

winerkleiner

Could you turn a 1200 rated player into a GM?
