When Chess gets "Solved"...

If a computer ever solves the game of chess, it pretty much means that only humans will be able to play humans. It would not make sense for a human to play a computer that has solved chess because as soon as a human makes a mistake, the computer will find the perfect line to play and then the game is over.

I hope that they never solve chess. High level computers are already too good to the point that with certain exceptions, the majority of chess players will be beaten by them.
