Yep, Marshall was a great player. He even managed to win ONE game out of 23 in his match with Capa!

ABF... anyone but Fischer... i am sick of hearing about him. The guy was a racist nutbar and I hold zero respect for anyone like that. I would say Karpov, just love his positional style.

I think each generation gets better and better in general. Top players today can beat the top players of 50 years ago.
Masters of the past stand out more because they were rarer back then. Now everyone has a brother who is a GM.
