Frankly, all tournaments should have a playoff system instead of an arbitrary tiebreak formula. I would like to have seen a playoff between Carlsen and Kramnik at the Candidates.

Anand should have refused to play the Armageddon game. Rules are rules. What would the organizers do? Strip him of victory and award Naka the title on basis of a "forfeit"??

The organizers are not professional. It seems more like some rich guy's pet weekend tournament rather than a professionally run tournament. They should not have changed their rules. Anand should be the winner instead of Nakamura who didnt win any of the disciplines. No wonder Carlsen didn't play.
