Blocking isn't working

This guy keeps sending me alert messages and I've blocked him, I can't even send him a message but I keep getting his messages.

Why and how do i block him?

I guess the first thing would be to check that you actually blocked this person. 

Presuming that is okay,  alerts are sent by chess.com for various reasons. Messages are just one of the reasons alerts are sent.  Alerts are also sent when people comment on topics you are tracking, write notes on your profile, when it is your turn to move in online chess, etc.

You can choose what types of alerts you receive.

The transition to V3 is causing some glitches all over the site. Perhaps that explains it.

     Well you can't answer the question. You don't seem to have a driver's lisence in these forums.  You started 4 threads that are derogatory about the site, but NOW you want staff to help you ??   Your not actually interested in blocking the guy. You just want to create derogatory thread #5 against the site.

First, I didn't see your question when I posted because it was right after I had reached this page. Second, I'm not obligated to respond to your questions. "Driver's lisence in these forums"? I'm sure saying these illogical statements make you feel smart, but that still doesn't change the fact you have no life and am stalking my threads. Go back to your hole.

YOUR asking for help.                                                    " I'm not obligated to respond to your questions".     You mean you dont WANT to, because he's not bothering you, and you didn't block him.                                              OK; It goes against my better judgement because I would love to play with you like cat & mouse, but staff has had a good laugh, and now the're giving me that look that says, "RONNIE PLAY NICE" so I'll explain. If you had a lisense, you would know the difference between a "message" and an "Alert". You are in a group that he is an admin. THAT, overides your block. If you want him out of your life, you have to leave the group. If you don't want to leave the group, there IS a setting you can make on your profile page, but since you don't have a lisense yet, let's just learn the difference between red lights & green lights 1st heh? As for stalking your threads, that's YOUR paranoia talking. But I do love NASCAR wrecks when someone crashes & burns in the forums,so my last piece of advice for you is;"don't drive angry"  One more thing; Take the blue pill and continue to crash & burn with anger & insults in nonsense threads. Take the red pill, and get constructive help from staff & members. NEXT WEEKS LESSON;  Left turn signals, and how to listen to your spotter!
