i started playing chess for 5 years on and off. my current chess skill is intermediate level.i participated some ameteur tournaments in my native country.now i make up my mind to spend more time on chess to improve and to become an advanced level player.what the problem now i have is that i can't decide which book to buy while surfing several online chess book stores.at the moment i am working in a foriegn country.next year i leave to my country and continue studying chess.in my country , internet access and computer are limited resources so i have to rely on books rather than software. i'm now collecting necessary metarials that suit my needs.in different themes such as ending, strategy, tactics, opening, annotated games, puzzles, chess pychology, etc. i want to buy and read books. and i don't really want to waste money on books which aren't much useful as advertised.some books are too easy and some are too entertaining than instructive.please give me your suggestion and let me know your point of view. all are welcome.thanks!
