One tip that MAY be useful: use Google Chrome instead of Mozilla.
It's a tip of my husband, hope it will work.

Good idea Lucie, I'll try that. It works nice on my laptop with Firefox on Win7 though.... and on my android app.
Hi. I have this problem that Firefox 33 crashes in Online chess. This was after I upgraded from Linuxmint 16 to 17. It has so far not crashed in Live chess, but then again, I haven't played that much live chess lately. What happens is one of 2: either it just crash and I get the crash report thing, or the graphics disappear and will not come back until I restart Firefox. Only chess.com cause Firefox to crash, no other sites that I've visited.
I've tried the following:
Install Opera and play chess there - same problem
Disabling plugins - same problem
Restart Firefox in safe mode - same problem
Run a memory check - no memory failure found
Reinstall the whole system - still same problem
So.... so far this only happen on chess.com - Online chess. Is it a bug in Online chess? Or in Firefox itself? Do other Firefox users on Ubuntu/Linuxmint have this problem? Hope there will be a solution somewhere.
