Games Editor Problem

Hi, the Games Editor on here - More/Game Editor - doesn't allow me to promote a pawn when entering game details. I'm using Firefox. Any help appreciated, thanks.

It works fine with Safari 8.0.3 so it might be Firefox related. Have you tried with some other browser as well, like Chrome?

Yes I've just tried it with IE and I have the same issue. It's also the same on both my laptop using Windows 7, and my old PC running XP.

Oh, you're right! I was still in the Analysis board tab. It works there, but as you say, it doesn't work in the Game Editor tab. Definitely a bug/oversight then. Well, as long as one doesn't need any promotion a variation, I guess one is fine...

Oh glad it is not just me. Yes this is an annoying bug, I have sent a ticket. I could use other editor pads, but I quite like this one and I have just paid for my subscription again and such things should work.

Still no contact back from chess.com on this matter.

Another thing I have noticed not working is certain colours on chess diagrams.

These things might not be 'the end of the world' but they are features of this site that are not working and should be fixed.

At least it's working in V3... (But that also means it is unlikely they will fix it for V2.)

How do you get into version 3?

I don't know if it's open for all now, but I think so. Look at the bottom of the page. There should be a link saying something like "Try the new Chess.com". If there isn't, perhaps you need to join the V3 beta group.
