Okay, I submitted a ticket, though to be honest; I don't think I should have another game going. I don't recall starting one, but I can't be 100% sure of it. The counter being off is a more likely is a more likely scenario.
Either way, the ticket is submitted and I can just hope support will get to it briskly :)

Sometimes the website may have a slight delay in synchronizing your "in progress" stat to the actual number of games you have going on. You can always use http://www.chess.com/echess/myhome.html to see your current Online Chess games and then click "view all" to see all your Online Chess games if you have more than 10 ongoing. Sorry for the confusion!
