Start to invite new members into the group, play some matches, and post in the notes about it. You don't have to spend a lot of time, just stuff to keep it relevant.

I know about that, but we can't play matches if I'm not a admin to begin with, im trying to save it :/
Probably your best bet is to contact chess.com to see if they can make you the SA. If the group has any admins that are still active on chess.com, they might be interested in helping keep the group going - hit them up too.

This group that I'm a part of has a super admin that has been gone since 2011 and I would like to know how I can get it back started again even though it has been dead for awhile :/
