I assume you play live chess and you want to play unrated game. Well there is a choice to play unrated or rated. Just pick unrated. If you cant see it then choose, custom. There you will see rating option and you can choose your unrated game. Sometimes after a while of searching for an opponent, if a popup comes, just say no. If not it becomes rated.
