You may have to zoom by holding ctr and wheeling the mouse wheel.
Alternatively, you can actually drag the chat section of the screen further to the right to let the chess board fill up more space.
zooming with browser does not work for me (get a blurry board) - I went into settings on the live chess page and chose board size "huge"(!) this worked
Link it up to a widescreen TV with an HDMI cable... 
LOL my TV is smaller than my computer monitor! I never watch TV
