Membership credit available for upgrades

You have $42.82 of membership credit available for upgrades.

If I don't use this membership credit will this be credited towards my current membership (platinum yearly) or does it only apply as credit if I upgrade to ex. Diamond yearly.. and would that make my billing $46.18 out of $99 with $42.82 credit applied?

The credit would reduce the amount you would have to pay if you upgraded to a Diamond membeship. That amount is basically how much is left from your last renewal (or orignal purchase if that is the case) and is pro-rated amount based on how much time has passed since then.

So the $42.82 is money I already paid, and would be deducted from that annual cycle of the $99 membership, so I'm paying the remainder of the diamond membership, but I'm getting reimbursed for the months I had platinum/ the price difference of platinum and diamond. 

So a clever way of marketing..borderline dishonest
