I realize that a player should have some time to "think" a move but it seems to happen frequently that my oponents apparently choose not to play and I am left waiting for minutes on end the game ending up in awarding me a winning. This is not only a fair way to earn ratings, but it is also not a "nice thing to do". Is there a solution for this? Shouldn't there be a "button" to avoid these situations?
Thats why we have the fair play policy. When players stall unnecessarily, their account is automatically noted and restrictions may be placed on their account accordingly.
