I've been having this problem for few days now, where the moves won't register. I have to hold the piece on that square for at least 5 seconds before releasing, for it to register the move

EDIT: I got a new mouse and the problem is fixed

Are you using the Chrome browser?  In Chrome I have to drop the piece on the top edge of the destination square for the move to be accepted.

sorry for not updating the post. I realized the problem is my mouse, so I'm getting a new one

That's good to know, but a similar bug still exists (at least in Chrome), namely, if I submit a move after the page of the game was open for too long (>30 minutes, I guess), the move isn't made and I have to submit it once more (the second attempt is always successful). I guess the server architecture is necessarily such that it can wait for a response for a limited time and then the page needs a reload, but the timeout threshold can be increased to such a value that it's invisible to most players (like to several hours).

Same issue here, moves just wont register. Although I can see the shaede squares, the pieces dont move.

Edit - I'm also using Chrome. And to be precise, opponents moves dont register. So I have to move its piece to the designated spot in order to be able to move my piece. Quite weird...

Do I take it right that the site is developed primarily with Firefox in mind and so it's the recommended browser for bug avoidance?
