On S3 with 4.3

The 3.0.118 app seems to have stopped force closing at every step but now I can't trust the posittion shown. It seemed OK to start with but now gives me nonsense positions (wrong pieces in wrong places - can be without king!). Still we are making progress!

The new app does not update/refresh last moves of my opponent even if I have received notifications of last move in the notification window. Overall I like the new app but there are too many annoying bugs.

android app updated. can't find how to get same colour scheme as before, and can't seem to complete a move on a game. keep pressing the accept button (orange tick) but won't complete move.

Cant submit moves, oh my god, this new app is terrible, its a bad joke...

Correction. I still get a force close if I go into an analysis board and then try to return to the main board by clicking the icon (still 3.0.118)

I can submit my moves now but I keep having to sign out and sign back in.... keep working guys. It looks good and looks like there's a ton of new cool features.

unable to view any conversations or invites to teams I am involved in. Old version better for that. Also stats tab just makes app crash. When it doesnt no stats show, yet I can see my stats thru the tab within daily games tab.

Play store just said there was a new version to download. I uninstalled my previous version (3.0.118) and downloaded the "new" version which also shows as version (3.0.118); including in the what is new on playstore.
 
I tried running the app and, after loginng in again, on the second game selection I noticed I had no king. The game display is still wrong.
 
I tried going into the analysis board and when I tried to return to the main board got a force close.
 
Has ahything changed?

crashing at various times and in 1 game my pawn is removed without any move by opposition, says it's my move but won't ler me. I have 3 devices running android and none will run chess.com properly if at all. There was nothing wrong with pre Xmas interface, niw it's a mess and looks like I'm going to lose games because of it.

i've stopped using the new app on my tablet and just using chess.com directly.  hopefully they take care of these bugs quickly, i like where they're going with the app but right now i don't trust it to play it.

Is this still going on? Is it in live chess or online turn based? My turn based games show correctly.

As for the force crash after viewing analysis board. I'm not getting this issue. Can you tell me exactly what you are doing?

On S3 android 4.3 (just added-and on chess 960), as I said, enter the app; tap on a game; silly position shown. I have emailed a screen capture of a position without king. If I step though game crazy moves shown. For example Knight animates to a new position and then back so no total change. Pieces transform from one colour to another etc I knew my id is ka05 but. ....

I only use correspondence Chess. I note the thumbnails in the selection list appear correct.

The only force close know about is moving from analysis to main board but I haven't tried much.

Just noticed the count of waiting games at the top of the screen is 4 while the list below shows 8 with a timer (the web site says 8 too) .

The long ago release of the previous version would sometimes give me a particular game with a crazy position shown. I had some discussions with support then until it was fixed.

Just thought of something - all my games are Chess 960 as I only play that I didn't think of it.

If you are saying on an S3 with Android 4.3 you don't have these problems perhaps it is a conflict with other software I am running.
