Please stop fulfilling very old game invites

It has happened a couple of times now: I invite to a game. Then find another game I like to play, and play it. When that game is over, suddenly I am pulled into a game based on my initial invite. Maybe an hour earlier.
Could such invites instead become invalid as soon as I have entered another game? At least as a setting...
