When you don't want to continue playing a game, make sure you click on the "resign" button before closing the window.

The clarity of some of the rules at this site is about as bad as umpires are at calling balls and strikes. I get opponents telling me to stop stalling and they'll report me if I don't move right away because I took 2 minutes to make a critical move in a 5 minute game where maybe I gambited a pawn earlier and as far as I'm concerned, I can use my 5 minutes however I G-- D--- well please, and that's how I often win. A long think in the middle game and blitzing the endgame.
