The winner has gone unbeaten over 22 games, despite being lower ranked than several of the opponents.
But every game he plays outside the tournament is a loss.
I joined chess.com 5 years ago and found out that it is a great place to play live chess. However, checking my last 10 or so opponents on standard time control I find out that EVERY SINGLE one rated around 1800 has blitz rating around 1100-1300 and on standard they blitz out computer moves. It was a hard dicision but I quit playing live chess on longer time control 6 months ago, Recently I thought about giving it on more try only to experience the same thing. Are there any 1800 players sharing the same weird feeling?
