He's just a sore loser. Technically of course you could file a complaint and chess.com would send him a nasty note if it bothers you that much. Easier just to block the fool and move on with your life IMHO.
Cheating accusation

Maybe chess.com should have a sore loser section so that they don't bother normal players and can write nasty messages to each other to their hearts content.

you'd be surprised how a passive & peaceful game like chess brings out such appalling behaviour from participants.
its just unfortunate that such a large number of unsporting jerks congregate on chess.com
2 weeks ago a slighty higher rated player i'd played and beaten 4 times previously , starting talking trash only when it was becoming apparant that he was going to win this , and his first , game against me.
out come all the accusations of me using an engine to cheat / win the previous games ??
yeah , i really need to cheat in casual unrated games in the 1300 region cos thats how you improve your game........
pathetic little dick was loaded onto my block list faster than you can blink.
i challenged him to a rematch immeadiately after his smack talkin win , but he chickened out lol.

It is a form of abuse to accuse your opponent of cheating. If you suspect anyone there are channels to use here without throw ing unfounded accusations around. I've been thrashed by ratings of every level, but all I do is blame myself for playing a lousy game. There is a peculiar psychology of a few people that doesn't allow self criticism. It's a form of sickness, just as much as cheating is.

It depends on what he said. If he used bad words or insulted you in a way that seems disruptive you can report him. However, I agree with the other chess.com members. Simply block him and move on. Also, if this becomes a problem/ common occurance.. simply disable chat before the match starts. Hope this helps!

Your thread was moved to off-topic. There use to be list of known banned cheaters, but I can't find it. Maybe they removed it.

I wish there was a page where you can report suspicion of cheating, so that the staff can look into it. I bet almost everyone here have played against a person who seem to play abnormally well given their record & rating.
For example, the other day, in one 15/10 tournament I lost against a person rated 700 (at 10 minute games). He beat everyone and won the tournament. I looked at the computer analysis of my game against him. He didn't make a single mistake. Very strange.

So I get a message that says I was obviously cheating in a live game. The guy says all my moves matched computer. I'm 1400' he's about 1100. So I write message saying I've never used an engine in my life and he'd better learn the game better before throwing around accusations. But I find out he only accepts messages from friends! Isn't a cheating accusation a form of abuse? Why is it ok to insult members, then hide behind the software to avoid response? I personally have been cheated against by a Proven cheater, who was banned from the site and resent people 300 pts lower saying I cheated because I beat them fair and square. And what kind of people are these anyway?
