Hey everyone, this is my first forum post, so apologies if this is not in the correct section.

I was playing a live game just now, quite a sloppy one at that, but I had managed to come out ahead a bishop, and I had a pawn on his 7th rank. The position was decisive in my favor, at least I'm pretty sure it was.

Suddenly, the page refreshed. And when I reconnected to the network it said I had resigned.

I've had connection problems during games before, and from my experience as long as I had reconnected within a minute or so I could continue playing. The page refreshed immeditely, and this was not the case.

I'm so frustrated. I've been trying to improve my rating and something like this is just a real damper on my morale. Especially since I had recovered from multiple blunders to secure the won position.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Maybe care about your chess instead of your rating.
