if you promote to a rook then white wouldn't play Rc5 so it won't be a draw anyway sorry i meant would be a draw anyway

took me a good few minutes but I got there in the end. Pretty sure I would not have got that without the 'draw in 3 moves' caption, especially in a game!

Yeah, hopefully this position is simple and stark enough to stick in all our noggins...but the problem is, will we recall that such a possibility can happen coming out of some position a few moves earlier (so we'll be able to take advantage of it)?
