this is an amazing puzzle

i don't think i've ever seen a pawn promoted to a bishop before

I know I've seen a similar puzzle tucked away in one of my chess books... I'll try and dig it up if I can.

I saw it immediately since you called it unusual.  If you would have called it boring, I probably would not have gotten it or read this forum in the first place. :P
