Hi aedem, no you shouldn't be seeing ads :( Can you please try to uninstall the app completely, clear app data, and redownload it from the Google Play store?

I had to do the same thing. It looks like the app doesn't register the upgrade completely. Game history was complete, but there were still ads and the upgrade account message in settings.
