I can't believe no one else is frustrated by one or two games that cannot affect the outcome of a group yet those one or two games hold up countless others!
This situation makes a mockery of "no vacation" tournaments.
If an algorthm cannot be developed, surely the tournament organiser could be given the power to promote the matches to the next round.

I note the needless delay in cottinuation of tournaments on chess.com only bothers me, so no more tournaments for me in the future
To show how I feel about needless competition delays I have withdrawn from the second round of the Australian Championship.
