Karpov vs. Quinteros

This game came from a closed sicilian, an interesting opening, in fact Karpov didn't seem to like it too much because apparently this is the only closed sicilian game he played as white! I decided to do an in depth analysis of the game because there are tons of strategical and tactical (at the attack towards the end) ideas to get out of it.

Wow. That was a great analysis. Karpov is known for being one of the greatest positional masters of all time. I never really got that vibe though from his games against Kasparov, so I'm glad to see a game like this up here.

You did another terrific job on the analysis man. This was a tough positional struggle to dig into. Keep up the good work brother.

amazing stuff, really need to check more games out, it's a great way to learn, thanks man, Great attack,

Well I have another instructive positional game that I analyzed months ago, so I might end up posting that next.

Fonix

Please do. Tactical explosions are fun to see for certain, but in my humble opinion, tense positional warfare is what this game is all about.

I think the same way. I like the positional struggles.
