My Game Editor is having a few problems, so you can check out the link to these games to view them. Then, I'd like for the readers to post their thoughts on the games to create a "collective analysis" of each of the games. These games have one side playing in the style of the Hypermodern Era while the other plays in the style of Classical Era.

1. Lisitsyn vs. Botvinnik, 1944

2. Harmonist vs. Paulsen, 1889

3. Schwarz vs. Paulsen, 1879

4. Opocensky vs. Reti, 1925

I was always interested in how a very strong player like Botvinnik would handle a hypermodern opening.

I just spent over an hour analyzing the Harmonist game. Somehow my browser crashed when I tried to submit it. Total b.s.

Fonix, I recomend first analzying it in chessmaster or if you don't have anything like that in microsoft word and then copy and paste all of your comments. That way posting the topic doesn't take too long and if something happens you'll always have your analysis which your copying from saved.

Fonix

Thanks man, I think thats a good idea. I swear I felt like breaking something. I will repost the analysis I came up with this shortly.

Fonix, imagine that happening 8x in a row... well I think I did actually break something....

It's frustrating, isn't it?

Elubas

8 times in a row? One long game is enough! I'd be suprised if you didn't break something.
