Hi RobParker/Team Britain, I saw your post in the other forum, requesting clarification. Kokino said that the deadline for the 1st game challenges is the 10th, and has also said they can be issued anytime from the 6th.

So anytime from then (in 4 hours) is fine as far as we are concerned (Red Army).

The match title as above, i.e. TML-ROUND 2: Team Britain vs Red Army - <1499

Minimum 5 players per match, 3 matches (different ratings) vs each team.

You can choose the opening (starting position of the game) when you are sending the challenge, or you can leave it as standard if you wish.

3 days per move

Auto start - off

2 simultaneous games

I think that is all OK, but sure someone will correct me if not.

Good games everyoneSmile

Funtastic Chessmates! is the last team to issue challenges corresponding to ROUND 2 - 1

I kindly ask to their Team Admins to do it before deadline or I will be forced to forfeit your group on those games.

um i wans't aware of this, i'll try to issue the challenges, but if one team can challenge us, it will make it easier.  I had no clue we were even in this and was just invited, but i'll try to set this up.

I don't know how to make the Euro symbol, so I don't think that I can challenge the European Union Team, so can they issue a challenge to Funtastic Chessmates please?

Challenges have come, but they are wrong. It is really important they have 2 concurrent games and minimum players 5, and we have received them with only 1... so I am forced to cancel them. At any rate, as I see there are no pre.defined opening, I will send them to you correctly.

Funtastic chessmates. Thanks for the challenges, all the match details were correct on these. However I refused them because it is earlier than we would like to start them; scheduled 8/20, so maybe a few days before then if that is ok. Also, we, Red Army, are supposed to issue the challenges for R2 Match3, giving us the option of a pre defined opening if we would like to choose one.

Don't worry about these matches, I will make sure you receive the challenges in time and there should be no problems with regards to forfeits or anything like that. Smile

Funtastic Chessmates, I have cancelled our 1900+ match since you are 5 days beyond the deadline despite us sending the challenge, and it being accepted, earlier than scheduled; plenty of time to achieve 5 players.

Not even a message to explain the delay...it is a shame that you did not see fit to be a little more courteous to the admins of my group.

Kokino, I see their match with Britain is only 4 players; I think it would be harsh to punish Britain in any way for this. It is obvious where the problems lie.

maybe that's a little harsh.  i mean i understand ur PO'd with FC...i didn't know we only had 4 people, for i don't really handle it cuz i admin a few groups so i try to stay out of it.  but i can say for everyone in our group we apologize.

I appreciate the sentiment. Unfortunately, from my point of view the facts spoke for themselves. Each admin of your group was sent an automated message several days ago when I locked our team; with the match title 'TML FC vs RA 1900+...' so there was no excuse for the match not to be started even if your super admin was unavailable. Plus, this has been a theme of the second round has it not? Problems with FC not issuing challenges correctly/on time, not locking games on time, not providing sufficient players to participate in accordance with the rules.

falling-upwards, it sounds like you and a few others are being let down by those who supposedly 'manage' your group and I am sorry to hear that.
