This is a great learning opportunity for all who review the games. I absolutely want to see some (but not exclusively) titled players duke it out with Magnus. In particular I'm excited to see what the fast rising Andrew Tang brings to the board :D

only 4/8 of the spots from the qualifying tournament are going to be titled players. Titled players will no longer be able to qualify, to give other chess.com members a chance.

Really happy to see non-titled players get a shot.That's very nice. Are each of the remaining 4 qualifiers open to ALL non-titled players, or will there be different rating limits like a U-1800 and U-1600?
I think it's all non-titled players.....
Aw man, you mean I don't get to shock and upset a bunch of titled players en route to qualifying next round?!

Great job, now i don't have to play you! lol. I lost out today.....4.5/5 after drawing cool64chess i got into serious time trouble in round 6 and ended up losing an easy draw. So i have one more chance left.....It's quite frustrating/

Redpoll cool64chess won. I can't play tommorow is the problem. But i hope that GACG win's tommorow (or another 2000) and i win on Monday.

Well......It won't take long for Magnus to crush Andrew, (as much as i have a respect for the fast rising fast moving Andrew Tang even in a simul he's no match for Carlsen!). However my expectation is that GACG, cool64chess, Love (i don't remember the rest of his username) will probably be the ones that take the spot, though i think i have a good chance at one of the spots there are about 8 strong 2000's 1900's ect that are playing and i expect that the four spots will go to them.
