Rumours are that City are letting players like Richards, Rodwell, Lescott and Milner go. Having sat on the bench for a number of years they will now want a regular game. We could have a very close look at Richards though.

Looks like I was wrong about Ricky Lambert. It's all over the local news that he is having his medical tomorrow. Boyhood Liverpool fan, and released by the club when he was 15, he turned 32 in Feb. He will no doubt be no.3 behind Sturridge and Suarez but will be great cover for injuries, suspensions and a player to bring on with 30 minutes to go if/when we are looking for a goal.

Not wild about Lambert. I don't see him as a substantial improvement over our current stock. If it makes the Lallana deal more possible, then it makes great sense. But in isolation, not really.
