Hoping to finish up a Tourney so i can play in your Tourney. It seems everyone I am playing is taking the maximum time to move.

Sorry mitchthebuyer, I forgot that non-premium members are limited in the amount of tournaments that they can enter. 

I know I will sign up soon for premium membership. I am in one tourney where most the other players have 1500-1800 ratings. I had been playing better against the higher rated players but this brought me back to earth. 

It seems that everyone starts out playing then goes to the maximum time limit once the games get serious.

Yeah.... That is part of the reason I started this group.  I also started this group so that I can keep in contact with players who share my playing style.  I'm always willing to play stand-alone games, so feel free to challenge me anytime you have a slow stretch!

Thanks for inviting me. I was up to 78 games at one point. Now i am down to about 30. Can you believe this one guy who is an administration for quite a few teams is playing a match with me that started Nov 16th. Takes the max 3 days and has gone on vacation 5 or 6 times to buy himself added time. When he started he had a 1559 rating and is down to 1208 now. I watched him lose 80 games in a row I guess to get into lower ratings tourneys. I have him down to his King and I have half my pawns, both rooks and my Queen. Going for a second Queen. :-)  

Even 30 games would be pushing it for me.  15-20 is fun, but once i get into the 20's it becomes too much like work.

its more work when people don't play. I will challenge you to a game sometime soon.
