The goal of the Yellow Tigers chess team is to prepare the members in the team to play a high quality of chess at rated USCF and FIDE chess tournaments, individually or as a team. To accomplish this goal, Yellow Tigers will use the team to their advantage by A: members supporting and encouraging each other before, during and after tournaments, and B: stronger players helping the weaker players by both teaching them chess but also by instructing them how to improve their chess skills on their own.
