About Me:
I was midwest bred, southern raised and expensively educated on the banks of the Charles River in Boston.  Having already had multiple successful careers helping to fashion public policy, teaching and  management, I have now turned my attention to being a father, writer and consultant  in the arena of  business development.  I began learning playing chess under the guidance of John Zuegner who, earlier in life, developed his skills as a member of the Harvard Chess Team. John was a substitute teacher during my very brief time in high school.  He would frequently give me passes out of my classes in order that I might go to the library and memorize openings and and prepare analysis of games.  My debt to him for the gift of chess is of the enduring variety. I am a father, writer, teacher, business development consultant and proud Scot both by blood and temper.  "Garg'n uair dhuisgear"   At length the Bondage I have broke Which gave me so much Pain; I’ve slipt my Heart out of the Yoke, Never to drudge again; And, conscious of my long Disgrace, Have thrown my Chain at Cupid’s Face. If ever he attempt again My freedom to enslave, I’ll court the Godhead of Champain Which makes the Coward brave, And, when the Deity has heal’d my Soul, I’ll drown the little Bastard in my Bowl.    Alexander Robertson 13th Donnachaidh Chief         1668-1749 NOTE: Please visit http://www.designofferings.com/
