Started playing when I was 7. Never played formally and never learned an opening. Hadn't played in over 20 years and picked up the pieces through a friend at work in 2006 joined chess.com in 2007. Have been very flat but recently fallen from above 1400 rapid to 1300.  Looking to improve.  Trying to get serious about improvement.
