I was raised in a country with a religion that distorted the true meaning of divinity and holiness. Some may call me a “freedom fighter”, perhaps a “martyr;” if I would give my life. Fortunately, I met Raymond and he showed me the better side of a dark world. I have no family I can speak of or point to. My family was killed by the Mombasa Cartel, and though many days I wish I could forget that pain and those memories I must fight, I must persevere, and keep striving towards the light, the hope, the better part of this world and perhaps I’ll find out and be able to live out that holiness.
