About Me:
I'm a guy born in the late sixties - 1969 to be precise!
The most important thing about me is that i am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I'm not here on chess.com to "preach" but if anyone asks a question i gladly will try to answer it to the best of my ability.
I am a member of the excellent group CoT here at chess.com which is a group who has committed to play other CoT-members in OTB-style (i.e. not using ANY outside help but ones own knowledge). Personally i won't use any outside help when i play non-CoT members either...

First off i'd like to say that when you play me - you are playing only me! You are not playing me and a bunch of chess books; You are not playing me and the analasys board - Just me and my time :-) ... I know it's allowed under the rules of the site but i think it takes the fun away... so!
Further on - I think Chess is a facinating game because of the depth that's in it. The more you learn the more facinating it gets. The most intruiging part i think is the choices one has to make. Often a move is a compromise and you are the one who has to make the decision of which factors are the most important ones in that particular position...
Well, let's make the hard choices, shall we!?

Though i'd finally get around to annotating the game i played with "the rockbadger". Goes as follows:...Read more »
