Hey there, I’m Kingdom_Hearts and guess what?! I love CHESS!
I’ve been playing for about a year now and am having so much fun playing the very interesting and intellectual game of chess, while meeting so many cool people which include The_Big_Decline, lkknight, mightyjack, weathermayne61, Matthew_Alexander, White_Fang3 and so many more. I’ve learned many common openings with some advanced ones and use them in my game for fun and excitement. It’s so exciting playing because I get this rush of energy which helps me to focus and play hard.
I love the game so much that I’m even going to write a 10-minute memorized speech on the game. I hope to share my speech with others in order to inspire a movement to make chess a mandatory class as it teaches life skills. Here where I live, schools don’t teach chess directly and I think it’s an important skill to have as it teaches; discipline in playing the game and improving, focus in developing a strategy and learning, and planning to know what will increase your chance of winning and what will not. Recently, I met a 23-year old speech coach who told me that “the difference between the best move and the good move is a lightning bolt and a lighting bug”. Once I’m done with the speech I’ll post it here on chess.com for all to see but until then I have a lot of work!
Another thing I enjoy is Kingdom Hearts! It is a fun Disney game that takes the main character on a journey to find his friends and while he’s on this long dangerous journey he makes new friends which help him in times of need. I don’t want to spoil the game too much but let’s say that it’s a super fun game! I hope you get a chance to play out the story as it speaks to the heart that friendship matters regardless of what happens and through friendship trials can be accomplished.
After I played Kingdom Hearts 1 I discovered Final Fantasy. Although I don’t play final fantasy, I met so many of the characters in Kingdom Hearts which made me want to find more about them. This led me to the discovery of something wonderful that I only heard about. Do you know what I’m talking about? You’ve heard of it for sure! It’s anime! Interestingly I never watched it and was very curious about it. A friend recommended Baka and Test Summon the Beasts and I was enthralled by anime and it’s music, animation, and story plots. I don’t have a lot of time but I’ve watched several series like; Baka and Test Summon the Beasts, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, and Black Butler. I highly recommend those three if you’re just getting into anime or if you’re a long time fan. If you have any suggestions send me a message!
Before discovering anime however, I started listening to lots of Kingdom Hearts music and eventually led me to a great youtube channel called ETNNetwork. They have lots of great music that uses lots of dubstep and instrumental music. I love their music so please check them out because you’ll get hooked once you start listening! Here’s a link to their channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/ETNNetwork
If you’ve been reading my entire page I’d like to say thank you for reading! If you have any issues, recommendations, or chess.com group related concerns please send me an email or send me a personal message but if it’s urgent, use my email via my profile page. Subsequently I have a coaching page and if you’re interested, please send me a message. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great rest of your time on this superb site called chess.com. Thanks and I’ll leave you a quote from Anna Kendrick; “I think a gentleman is someone who holds the comfort of other people above their own. The instinct to do that is inside every good man, I believe. The rules about opening doors and buying dinner and all of that other 'gentleman' stuff is a chess game, especially these days”.
