Updates:

I recently quit a bunch of my chess.com groups, because I am getting really busy IRL and don't have as much time for chess.com anymore. Plus, I was in a lot of groups that I joined just because they were large and popular, and I did very little with the group and was tired of receiving news alerts. I also quit several groups that were way too inactive and there was no point to be in. A few of the groups I quit I was an admin in. I stayed in the groups that I am interested in or an admin in or need to be in or am involved in in some other way.

So, because of this, if you send me a group invite, I will probably not accept it. I'm just too busy to contribute to any more groups. If there is a group that you really would like me join (and I'm not just on an automated list of "an invite stash") then message me privately and I'll consider it. Thanks!

Hi! A little bit about me: Ok, I like Maroon 5. You might be able to tell. (If you can't figure it out, hint: my username.)   But they aren't my favorite band. Oh, no. They are my third favorite. Why do I have my username Maroon5fan, then? Because in the ten seconds that it took me to create a username, they were my favorite. And now, Daughtry and Nickelback aren't even mentioned. Well, maybe they are, since I just did. Anyway, as you probably can tell, I like music. Among my favorite artists (beside the three already named) are David Cook, Lmfao, Lifehouse, Linkin Park, Train, Flo Rida, Pitbull, Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis, PSY..... blah blah blah. Okay, enough about music. I like chess. I guess that's obvious. (Why would I be writing a profile on a chess website if I didn't like chess?) I have been playing for about 3 years, and regularly compete in USCF rated tournaments.

  What else...... Ok, some more about me: I am 15 years old, a Christian, am homeschooled, and live in Southern California. My main interests (as previously stated) are chess and music. I also like athletic stuff (like running, swimming, basketball, etc.) and lots of other things. I am a big animal person; I love dogs! I have two chihuahua mixes. I guess that pretty much sums me up. Oh, and I have a younger brother. (He's on chess.com too, his username is BenG_01. )
