My name is Neil. If I could only tell you one thing, it would be the gospel of Jesus Christ:
The Bible tells us when we die, we will face God's Judgment. How will YOU do on that day? How many times have you lied, stolen, had lustful thoughts, or blasphemed God's name? The Bible says that even the sin of lying, alone, is enough to earn a sentence in Hell (Rev. 21:8). But the amazing thing is that God sent His son, Jesus Christ (fully man, fully God), to take the punishment that we deserve. Jesus rose from the dead three days later to prove his power over sin and death. Now God commands people everywhere to repent (turn away from sin) and put their trust in Jesus and His FREE GIFT OF SALVATION. Our "goodness" cannot save us (Isa. 64:6). On the Day of judgment, many will call Jesus "Lord" only to hear Him say, "Depart from me, I never knew you." (Matt. 7:21-23). Do you KNOW Jesus? Knowing Jesus will be shown by hating sin, loving other people and most of all, loving God. Does that sound like you? Examine yourself to see if you're loving God as you should; by putting Him first in your life and obeying His commandments.
Anyway, beyond that, I am a middle school teacher and I have played chess off and on since I have been very young. I have gotten back into it recently and look forward to learning more and more about it. I am happy to play a game with people of any skill level and I would love to learn from the more experienced players out there.
