I learned about chess because I fell in love with the pieces as a child. I am in possession of a very old, wooden, hand carved chess table with every piece hand carved standing apprx. 9 inches tall. They are very detailed and captivating, and I would stage battles as a child. I am in my late 20's now, and have come to love the complexities of the game as representations of the struggles in life. And so, I play.
