I learned when my pops showed me how to in Mexico I was about 8 years old , stopped playing for a while and continued in High school i would visit the chess club on mondays at Cal High, read a book by Jose Raul Capablanca that I got from that club and other ones I didn't finish , this game is a hobby it requires logic and it challenges you to think ahead , that's why i like it.
