After a l-o-o-o-n-g break (since around 1970) my 8-year-old granddaughter (now 10) asked me to teach her how to play chess. So with a few of her friends we have been at it for 3 years as the Stonehouse Chess Club. I recently discovered Chess.com and that has helped me with teaching ideas & strategies as well as improved my game. But I don't know how much longer I can stay ahead of the Club members!
