About Me:
I'm a kid who studies in Ateneo de Manila Grade School (and learned chess at around 5). To me Chess is an art form. Many of the grandmasters now a days are just playing for money and to win. In a game, you have 2 styles, a positional non-exciting style which has more chances of winning, or make beautiful, tactical games which has more chances of failing. I would choose the latter without thinking twice. My favorite player is Mikhail Tal (whom I try to follow very much) because he realized what was happening to the game that Botvinnik ruled, took risks and changed my understanding of chess. "Some sacrifices are sound, the rest are mine" - Tal “That's what Chess is all about. One day you give your opponent a lesson, the next day he gives you one”- Fischer “Play the opening like a book, the middle game like a magician, and the endgame like a machine”- Spielmann
