About Me:

I've nestled in at Chess.com because it's a unique chess site, carefully constructed and well managed. My interest is in the history of and the culture surrounding chess. I am not here to play chess. I don't play turn-based chess anymore and will refuse any and all offers to play. I don't accept "Friend Requests" and I don't generally respond to Notes but I will respond to Messages if they seem to have a purpose other than meaningless chat. I'm only mentioning this so everyone knows there's nothing personal in my lack of response to any of the above.
